Happy Canada Day Long Weekend....

Whew, what a weekend, I was up at 4:30am on Saturday morning to volunteer at the HBC Run for Canada. I was almost sorry I did, getting up at that ungodly hour was more than I had anticipated. Since it was for a good cause I hopped in the shower, and shook it off. Luckily I had my mom and sister to keep me company. Thankfully the day turned out to be beautiful and I enjoyed all events and the company of my fellow voluteers. Although it seemed the event was a bit unorganized and there are many changes I would make, but overall it was a worthwhile cause (helping athletes who compete for Canada). I'll have pictures below of me and my wild hair LOL


Day two Sunday was a trip to Buffalo. This was a last minute trip and another one of my early morning adventures. Traveling along the highway 400, 407 and the QEW, what madness (for my fellow Canadians). I've never seen so many Sunday drivers in all my life. Why do people find it necessary to ride their brakes? Or decide at the last minute they need to cut across four lanes of traffic, because they don't know where there going? I'll have to post a driving post soon :0(
Well this day turn out to be great as well, especially since I didn't have to pay duty on my purchases, always a plus when driving across the US/Canadian border.
